Not Slow But STEADY!!!

Hi ya! So, I have about 10 mins to write this...It is one of those days!

Actually, it's been one of those years...where I find myself bouncing from one thing to the next with little to no time in between to catch a breath. Life eh? Can you relate? But I am not complaining...in fact one of my newly adopted mantras for this 2023 and beyond is "less complaining; more creating". It came at a time when I was trying to regain my focus or 'gather my frills' as I often say (lol). A time when distractions were at an all time high and my emotions were a bit scattered! I needed something to keep me grounded, steady and this phrase did exactly that. You see, I cannot create without Christ so when I think on this it immediately directs my thoughts vertical instead of horizontal. Now, anytime I feel tempted to complain about something that does not seem to be going my way or as I planned I redirect my mind to what Christ said, what He has done in the past and what He desires to do in this moment - with the pain, hurt, disappoint, mistake, sin, shame or failure!

What I had to remind myself is that no season is wasted. This I am sure of! So when life begins to life (lol) I do what I know to do best - rely on my Father. I lean completely into Him and forget all around me - my worries, cares, concerns, fears, doubts, deadlines, expectations etc. In those moments I know that God is reminding me of who is actually in control (sometimes I forget haha). He is also reminding me that I have been here before except I am wiser now, stronger now, and now I am aware of whose I am and who is walking this life out with me. In other words - I am NOT alone! This goes for you as well...YOU ARE NOT ALONE! Don't take the bait...the busyness of it all can cause us to forget that we did not start this journey nor are we guiding ourselves along the way. But, God's ways are higher and His plans were in place before we came. We may not always stay on course and we may not always go slow but we must remain STEADY!!!

Steady in Christ...Steady in love...Steady in life...

Sometimes it seems that there is not enough hours in the day to accomplish all that has to be done and this could make me loose track of what is really important setting aside time for God and looking to him for strength, wisdom and at times the right strategy to get job/task done.

stealing your quote 😊" less complaining more creating" , because at the end of the day I want to be used for his honor and glory.

God bless.

Yes! I can absolutely relate!

I've learnt that the more we turn to Him in those moments is the more dependent we'll become on Him and soon we'd realize our need for Him. Then we'd begin coming to Him sooner and sooner till we no longer make any moves without Him. Next, life will begin to feel less rushed!
